Voting Hours:

Voting polls are open between 7:00am - 7:00pm on election day, with anyone in line by 7:00pm being allowed to vote as well. Keep this in mind while planning your day on Election Day. You have a 12-hour window to vote!

Correct Identification:

Before voters can cast a ballot, they must present valid identification This requirement differs in each state, but examples of the majority of acceptable identifications include:

Driver’s license
Photo ID issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles
A U.S. passport
Military ID with a photo
State issues voter registration card with a photo
Some states also allow college IDs as valid forms of identification, but please note that South Carolina does not!

Additionally, your signature matters! Poll workers will frequently check your signature during sign-in with your signature on your voter registration form or identification, so make sure your signature is accurate!
